Bird Fork Farm Herbal Vinegar Hair Rinse

Raw vinegar rinses are an essential part of the "no-poo" movement, they help to reduce build-up, strengthen hair, soothe scalp conditions, and add shine and luster by balancing the scalp's pH which regulates sebum production.

Our hair rinse is a mix of homemade Kombucha Vinegar and organic raw Apple Cider Vinegar slowly infused with our Certified Naturally Grown Comfrey, Dandelion, Basil, Lemongrass, Sage, Yarrow, Plantain, and Mullein. These herbs were specifically chosen to maintain oily, dry hair, add body, thicken, and soothe scalp conditions.

Transitioning to a no-poo haircare routine can be a bit tricky and take anywhere from a few weeks to 6 months. Although the transition can be challenging, switching from oil stripping shampoos and conditions to this nourishing hair rinse may restore the scalp’s natural sebum production levels for healthy, strong, shiny hair and help us to become more sovereign in our day to day lives.

Suggested Directions for Use: Massage a small amount (4-10 drops) onto the scalp only, leave on for 2 to 10 minutes, then massage your scalp and direct the applied rinse down through the rest of your hair. Rinse. Use 1-2x a week as needed and utilize dry shampoo in-between washes to balance sebum. To soak hair, add 2 fl oz per 16 fl oz of water and soak hair for approximately 10 minutes before rinsing.
